Hello, my name is Buggy Boy. I’m a very special old gentleman whose exact age and breed aren’t written down anywhere, but everyone knows I spent most of my life as a hardworking harness horse, pulling Amish buggies along the back roads, with steady, honest steps. It was good work, but it was hard, and I dreamed of softer days.

In October 2023, a kind rescue pulled me from a scary situation just in time, and Mane Characters gave me the forever home I deserved. The most wonderful thing that happened here is meeting the love of my life, Edith (Image of Ed LM), a beautiful 21-year-old Standardbred mare who is mom to ten foals herself. We share a lovely paddock, graze side by side, and I keep a protective eye on her the way a true gentleman should. They even made a music video about my story and it always makes me feel famous! My designated birthday is February 14th because love, of course, and the team spoils me with pedicures and extra treats. I have green grass under my feet, all the hay I can eat, and a sweetheart who makes every day brighter. From long days on the road to peaceful retirement with my one true love, this old buggy boy has finally found his happily-ever-after at Mane Characters. Every Horse A Tale To Tell… and mine ends with the biggest smile a horse can give.
