Hello, my name is Arch Hanover, but my best friend calls me Archie. I’m a handsome Standardbred gelding who once had a racing career and even brought home some wins. After the track, life took a turn, and I needed a soft place to land. Mane Characters welcomed me with open arms, and I’ve never looked back.

The best thing that ever happened to me here is meeting Pledge of Honor. We are completely inseparable, grazing side by side, napping together, exploring our pastures as a team. I’m the playful one who keeps things entertaining; you’ll often catch me strutting around or making everyone laugh with my silly antics. Here at the reserve in beautiful Bourbon County, Kentucky, I’ve traded the roar of the racetrack for quiet mornings and peaceful evenings. I have room to run, friends who adore me, and a best buddy who makes every day brighter. Life after racing has never been sweeter. I’m proud to be a Mane Character, living my second career as the happiest retired horse around.
